90.9 FM The Light broadcasts Liberty University Athletics as a member of the Flames Sports Network. The Light currently airs all Lady Flames basketball games, the majority of home baseball and softball contests and a selection of Liberty Men's & Women's Soccer and club hockey matches. 90.9 also airs weekly sports talk shows and high school athletics. WRVL Radio is the flagship of the network and broadcasts Liberty Football and Men's Basketball on 88.3 FM and on the Internet at www.wrvlfm.com.
Jamie Hall is in his second decade working with Flames Athletics and is in charge of broadcasts on 90.9 FM. Hall is assisted in the sports department at 90.9 FM by Josh Wood.

Lady Flames Return To NCAA Tournament |
Liberty Women's Basketball won the Big South Title for the 13th time in 14 years on a shot by Devon Brown in the last seconds. They played in the NCAA Tournament against Kentucky and lost 83-77.

Liberty Football Shares Conference Title |

Liberty Flames Football has finished it's season by being co-champion of the Big South Conference. Mike Brown led the way by providing much of the Flames offensive punch. Brown has received several awards for his efforts as the Flames completed another successful season.
