(9/30/2009) As of late, it seems like the goal for the LCA Bulldogs (4-1) has been to win… and win BIG. They have scored over 50 points in three straight games and the defense is only allowing 10.7 points per game over that span. They look to continue that trend as they take on Riverdale Baptist (2-3) this Friday night at 7:30 pm at Williams Stadium for HOMECOMING WEEKEND!!! Hope to see you there.
(9/28/2009) The LCA Bulldogs seem to be hitting their mid-season form as they roughed up The Covenant Eagles, 57-17. This is the third straight game that they have scored over 50 points. Seth Good led the way with two passing touchdowns and also had two QB sneaks down at the goal line for touchdowns. Defensively, Ray Jones was all over the field making plays, including a fumble return for a touchdown. The Bulldogs will look to keep this offensive juggernaut going as they take on Riverdale Baptist (MD) this Friday night at Williams Stadium.
(9/23/2009) Desmond Rice, Ray Jones and Co. look to lead the LCA Bulldogs to another win this Friday night as they take on Covenant High School. LCA has had an offensive explosion as of late, scoring over 50 points in their past two games. Coming in at 3-1, the Bulldogs look to stretch their win streak to three games. It all goes down this Friday night at Williams Stadium at 7:30 pm. See you there.
(9/20/2009) The LCA Bulldogs were at it again this past Friday night with a convincing 53-15 victory over Blue Ridge School. From the start, the LCA defense set the tone, holding Blue Ridge to only 62 yards total offense in the first half. On offense, Seth Good threw for 2 touchdowns, including a 52 yard bomb to Demitri Knowles. Desmond Rice and Terrence Caskey carried the running load with 194 rushing yards and 2 touchdowns between the two. On special teams, Cody Underwood had two huge kick returns for touchdowns, being hit multiple times but still staying on his feet. Next week, the Bulldogs look to continue their 2 game win streak as they take on Covenant at Williams Stadium.
(9/12/2009) Desmond Rice lead the way with four touchdowns as the LCA bulldogs pounced on the Division II 2008 State Champion Seahawks of Atlantic Shores. Along with Desmond Rice's 5 TD runs Seth Good connected with Lorrell Morris for a touchdown in the first half. The second half was a chance to get many of our backup players some game time where backup quarterback TJ Clarke rushed for his first TD or the year and Cory Harrington scored in the fourth quarter making the final score LCA Bulldogs 55 Seahawks 0.
(9/11/2009) Coach Rocco and the LCA Bulldogs spent the weekend at Virginia Beach for their first away game of the year. Coming off a loss to Charlotte Christian LCA looked to bounce back with a strong performance at Atlantic Shores Christian School.
